16.1hh 8-year-old bay Thoroughbred gelding by Areion out of Goonda

Competed 1.05m and jumping 1.15-1.20m at home showing potential to do more. He is a forward, confident horse who loves his job and tries his best to please by putting 100% in every time. He also has established flat work with flying changes, leg yields etc. He has not competitively evented but has gone to a few cross country schoolings jumping pre nov fences.

He is not only a great athlete but also a much-loved pet. He is full of personality, will follow you around his paddock as you muck out, and is essentially a big puppy. He is great with kids and is exceptionally behaved for pony rides even when not in work. He is good around dogs, road riding, loading, and traveling in trucks & floats (has not straight loaded before but I'm sure he will be fine, we have a straight load but moved the partition over to one side for extra room as only ever travel with one horse), hacking alone or in company, paddocked in a herd or alone. Also great with dentist, farrier, vet etc. He is always complimented on his great conformation.

Kyro is not a horse you need to worry about keeping in 24/7 work, he is happy to be turned out and come back into work the same as he was previously. He has had a slow-paced two years since covid started with lack of competitions and university commitments so he has a lot more to prove. He would best suit a rider who is wanting to go out and have fun. Kyro is a well loved part of the family and will only go to an experienced home and will not be sold sight unseen, this is a very difficult and heartbreaking sale due to rider having university commitments.
