Age (Year Born)
Maggie is a beautiful natured horse. We have not done pony club or eventing with her, but she has probably done them in her history. We bought her as a fun horse for our girls to ride on the farm. A young complete beginner could ride on her and she wouldn't do anything nasty, but she might put her head down and eat grass, or just walk where she wants to walk, if they cant direct her properly. I do think of Maggie as very child friendly. My kids jump on her without even a bridle and just ride her around the paddock. We have had 3 kids riding at once with no bridle no problem, except for going too fast around a corner. The girls have jumped a meter high bareback, quite allot. What I really love about Maggie, is that she can be not ridden for ages (all winter), and then the kids get back on, and she seems just the same. All good.
On the fun side, if a person wants to go fast, she will. She does have quite a bit of go in her. She is not really ploddy. She has energy, but is still really good natured.
I haven't got much grass where we are, and getting through this wet winter, was pretty muddy, so really just need to sell our horses where we are. We also have a miniature available if anyone is interested.
