Quasar SSH has just his first crop of foals on the ground, who are already making their mark amongst NZ warmblood breeding. Quasar is sired by Quasi Gold (Quaterback), who was the German Young Horse Eventing Champion, as well as winning and placing at FEI Small Tour level dressage in Germany. He has left multiple licensed sons. Quarterback of course needs little introduction to the dressage world, he was a sensation himself as a young horse, making headlines globally. He has left multiple international Grand Prix horses, including medal winners and World Cup winners. On the dam side (and closer to home), Vollrath Lessing (Londonderry) was the NZ Young Dressage Horse Champion and has sired multiple FEI horses. We also see Weltmeyer, a dressage legend, who features in a huge number of Grand Prix pedigrees. Quasar himself is a modern, correct type. Long legged, and compact, very correct and with excellent limbs and feet. His movement is outstanding, and he has a super kind and trainable nature. His first crop of foals were born in the 25/26 season, and have more than impressed.
