Station Master

Due to no fault of his own, Blaze is available to a competent, competitive home. Blaze is a 17.2hh, 17 year old Warmblood X TB out of Pico Bello. Show name - Station Master. Don't let his age put you off - he's showing no signs of wanting to slow down anytime soon!

Blaze is a lovely horse to have around. Easy going, sensible and a pleasure to do anything with. He is a big boy and knows this so does need a confident handler. He is great for the farrier, vet, great to worm, clip, float, easy to bring into work etc.

I have had Blaze for about 2 years and we’ve a done a lot of hacking and flat work. I originally brought him as a pleasure mount to enjoy around the farm, but he tends to get bored rather fast. He enjoys the flat work and loves having a job to do so he is looking for a competitive home.  In the past he has evented to 2*, show jumped to 1.20m and is schooled level 3 dressage.

He has been enjoyed by a range of riders from beginners through to experienced riders. Although he can be ridden by anyone, he will really thrive with a competent rider. He is a very forward ride and loves his job, so not suitable for someone nervous.

Blaze can become herd bound if grazed with other horses but does settle once taken away. If grazed by himself near other horses he’s fine.

Blaze is now available for trials . He will not be sold sight unseen unless you can give references. On site trials only.
