SWE Rafaella

Twisty (SWE Rafaella) is a 14yo 16.2hh WB x mare, by The Graduate and out of a Ramirez mare. She is looking for a dressage/showing/hacking home after not working out as an eventer for her current rider.

Twisty is a multi champion in the show ring and is beautifully schooled with three flashy paces. She has plenty of buttons installed and is a sensitive type, yet still rideable and relatively straightforward.

Her current rider has done bits of everything with her including hacking, beach trips and teaching lessons on her. She can be spooky on the road but has been great at the beach and forest. She prefers to be with a friend or in a small group but has also been hacked out alone. She is great to travel, load/unload (float and truck) and take out, and isn’t bothered by a busy show environment as long as her handler isn’t! She is good to clip and for the farrier (currently shod all round) but does need sedating for the dentist.

Twisty is a real smooch on the ground and loves people. She can be bolshy at times and likes to be the boss of other horses (mainly when around food) so does need a competent handler.

Twisty has gone sour jumping and doesn’t want to do it so will only be sold to a non-jumping home. She is a starry mare with loads to offer a kind, balanced rider. She requires someone capable as she is athletic and sensitive, and can spook at times. In saying that, she is very focused in an arena when she’s got a job to do!

She is priced well below her value for a quick sale. This will be the bargain of the year for someone clever!
