Ready to find the perfect young rider as hers is heading to boarding school!

“Squeaky” is a gorgeous rising 5 year old black Connemara x mare by Bunratty Chieftan. She is standing at 138cm/13.2hh and of good strong build, whilst remaining an athletic type.

Although Squeaky is young, she is a gentle and kind natured mount with a willingness to learn and big heart that tries. She has shown to have no bad vices and is generally straight forward to manage and ride. She does show her age when tied to the float at shows, with some separation anxiety and can still be a bit looky, have a little spook at things.

Currently barefoot, Squeaky has had no history of health issues, and other than an abscess as a yearling - she’s never been injured or unsound.

Up to date with worming, vaccinations and farrier. She is well loved and cared for.

Squeaky has shown that she is happy to paddock alone and in company, has camped away at overnight events and is regularly handled by young teens.

Safe around pets although does chase sheep in the paddock. Currently in work 5 times a week, has also been both stabled and yarded without issues.

Squeaky has shown that she is a very classy young Show Hunter mount and will continue to progress nicely under the guidance of a good rider. Due to her age, she is currently competing to 70cm with success but is certainly not tapped out at this height. She will only continue to get better.

Squeaky has never been clipped, shod. Has floated a couple of times as a youngster but has been trucked regularly.

Good to hack out, fun to compete and just a genuinely lovely young competition mount.

She is young so does require a competent young rider to continue to guide her. A very classy mount!
