Bella is a quality young mare with plenty to offer her new home. 4yr old 16hh Hanoverian mare by Bellario. I’ve had Bella a few times over the last year for fitness and schooling and her owner has come to the decision that she isn’t going to utilise her to her potential and she would rather see her out in a competitive home being enjoyed! She’s a quality sort with plenty of presence to her, ticking all the boxes for the basics and now just needs more mileage Bella has been Vet Checked by her Owner for sale and flexed up super. LAVENDER HILL KSNZ 5yr old 15.3hh Registered NZWBA mare by Senator VDL out of a TB mare. Lav has been with me for the last year and has been a genuine youngster to produce, she is soft and willing on the flat with a super canter, brave and careful to jump with good natural instincts and enjoys getting out and about hacking! I see this mare thriving in an Eventing home with a competent junior or smaller adult wanting a straightforward but capable young horse with plenty of potential to travel up through the grades. Equally would suit a Jumping home or just someone that wants to do a bit of everything.
CHARLESTON KSNZ 5yr old 15.3hh Registered NZWBA gelding by Campion KSNZ. Charlie has been a genuine and straightforward chap to bring on since he arrived to us green broke at the end of November. He has 3 tidy paces and a cute jump that is developing nicely seems to love playing round XC jumps and I think an Eventing home could be his calling! Been easy to take out, same out as he is at home. Nice to have round and ready for someone to take over the reins and enjoy!
Jett is an absolute dude, such a pleasure to have around and a delight to ride. He has 3 lovely paces and a rocking horse canter. He has a lovely elegant presence about him that screams for the show ring or dressage arena. His dark bay coat really gives him that striking wow factor! He is well put together. Jett is currently schooling Level 3 dressage and has competed at Level 2 with wins and placings. He competed at the Off The Track Ribbon Day in the green horse class when he was a 5yr old and won champion with many compliments from the judges. Jett is a super honest jumper and enjoys this work. He has schooled up to 1m SJ and 95cm XC. He would suit someone wanting to jump for fun in between perusing their dressage/showing ambitions or someone wanting to dabble in a bit of everything. He is unfazed by fill. Jett has been on many outings and in many different environments - clinics, groups, lessons, practice days, competitions. He has been well schooled by his owner who adores him but is overcommitted so this is a very sad sale! His ideal fit would be a competent teen or adult rider looking for a lovely horse to be competitive in dressage and showing. He equally would be a great PC mount for a competent teen who wants to do a bit of everything. He is easy to deal with on the ground and in the paddock. Not grass affected. Jett can wind suck but wears a collar and is a great doer in fabulous condition! Seeking a loving home for this gorgeous gelding! He is very special to his owner. Tui's Midori (Dory) (by Tui’s Evensong, out of Tui’s Cinnamon Schnapps) 12yo 144.5cm (14.1hh) Morgan x Arab Dory is a gorgeous pony with beautiful big paces and looks stunning when ridden in a frame (with more schooling she could be phenomenal). She is a keen forward jumper most comfortable up to 90cm. We have had Dory since January and have taken her to jumping days and clinics, dressage, pony club, pony camps, road rides, bush/forest rides, beach rides, farm rides, pony club camp and mounted games. Easy to trim and has the hardest feet of any pony I have ever met (she chooses the gravel over the grass! ). Easy to worm, float (walks herself in and turns around) and do teeth (last dental done by Warwick Behrns in June). She came to us with a history of being a marish mare so we put a red ribbon on when out in groups and have her on chaste tree berry but have never had a problem (she will put her ears back if not happy about how close another horse is). She can be quite forward particularly when jumping and can have nappy moments (will kick out sometimes when asked to canter, has been checked by vet and body worker and is not pain related), which I am happy to discuss, so is not a beginners pony and would be more suited as a second or third pony for a confident child or small adult/teen. I love this pony and she would not be for sale were she a bit bigger but my daughter is getting a bit big for her and hasn't clicked with her as well as we had hoped. She has another bigger pony who is her main focus and isn't finding the time to keep Dory ridden regularly enough, so best to find her a new person who can give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is in light work but will be going off for a couple of weeks of schooling soon. Located in Maungatapere and will come with her two covers and her halter and lead rope.
