Ned is an 11yo 15.2hh Thoroughbred gelding by Nadeem.

I got Ned straight off the track after a successful racing career at the end of 2019, as my first hack, when I was 12yo, and I have produced him myself.

Over the last 3 years that I have owned Ned he has been an amazing first hack for me coming off ponies. He has taught me so much over these years, which has helped me move on to other horses and jump the bigger heights. Unfortunately it is now time for him to find his new little rider, who he can teach as much as he did with me.
Ned is very quick and clever over his fences and in a jump-off, he has competed up to 90cm with placings and is schooling 1m at home/lessons. He will try his heart out for you in the ring, and is the neatest ride, and I have so much fun taking him out to shows.
Although I haven't done much x-country on him, he would make a great eventer for someone who might like that discipline, I myself am more focused on showjumping so I don't get out doing much other than that. Ned can be strong so would be more suited to a teenager coming off ponies, or someone looking for a fun hack. He holds his weight very well and doesn't miss a feed, and is great to handle in every way - drenching, feeding, covering, shoeing, trucking, floating etc. Ned can be paddocked alone or in company and he has the most amazing personality and likes to pull cheeky faces.

I have had a bit of time off, and so he went to his first show back for 18 months at Woodhill at the weekend, and was a gentleman, going clear in his 70cm round, and only 1 rail in the 80cm.

This is a very sad sale due to no fault of his own - just other commitments needing to come first - and he will only go to the best of homes.
