Pure Chanel

$5750
Listing Status: Current
Location: Mangatangi, New Zealand
Chanel 4yo mare by Cartier GNZ (Cartell GNZ x Lansing x Corlando) out of Suzie Blue (Quorum) EMH 16.1hh Chanel is a quality type with correct conformation and lovely paces. A paddock accident as a yearling has left her with nerve damage in her upper neck. Because of this she has a slight head tilt and stiffness on the right bend. She is fully sound and there is no reason she couldn’t have a ridden career but we feel she is best suited as a broodmare.

WPH Louis

WPH Louis 16.3hh rising 7yo gelding. Awatea Splashback/Voltaire II/Aberlou Louis is a quality young horse with three swinging, expressive paces. He is light and easy in the bridle, good off the leg, and gives a great feel. He is well put together and would not look out of place out in the show ring either. Louis was broken in by myself as a 3.5 year old and since then his owner has done a super job of further producing him. He hacks out (alone or in company), been to small outings such as pole clinics and lessons, and has seen enough of the world that he is ready to see the competition arena with his next rider. Good to handle, and has a fun personality - life is never boring with Louis in the paddock! He is the class clown, with absolutely no dirt. If you are looking for perfect x rays, Louis is not for you. He was x rayed with mild kissing spine in 2024, but given the green light to carry on with his career. Because of this Louis requires someone knowledgeable, to keep on top of his saddle fit, bodywork, and general maintenance. However - this should be the standard with any horse! His price reflects this, but also the fact he is quality. $16,000 with gear (incl fitted saddle) or $14,500 without Please PM with any genuine inquiries.

Fahrenheit HD

Fahrenheit HD (Felix) Rising 4yo black Hanoverian gelding, currently 16.2hh. Microchipped, DNA verified, and a registered NZ Hanoverian. Formidable (Fidertanz/De Niro)/First Lady HD (Let’s Kiss N Tell/Grand Passion). Felix has been professionally started under saddle, and is showing he has super natural rhythm, swing, and expression in all three paces. He is correctly put together, with clean, straight limbs. Good to handle in every way, he is a real class clown with plenty of character 🤡 Has not shown any dirt in his short time under saddle. However he does still at times need his hand held, can be a little looky and noise reactive. However he is proving to be very trainable and is progressing quickly - he loves to please and tries his best! Felix would be a top prospect for an ambitious rider wanting a talented young horse showing all the right mechanics for the upper levels - as his breeding would suggest. We are going to be fussy where he goes, and he will only be placed with a rider with the appropriate skill and tact to produce a talented young horse who is bred to be a Ferrari (not a Corolla!). Genuine reason for sale. Please PM for any further info or videos.

Gyspy Divines Intervention

4yr old Gelding 50% Gyspsy (by Blackwood Thomoson) out of Trakhner mare. EMH 16.2, heavy build. Ready to be started. Although he has heaps of bone (10") and a big frame he moves very very well, light on his feet and straight. Hes super friendly and quiet. Has great temperment, good to handle, float, trucks etc. Has been to one competition where he was good to get ready, yarded and handled A&P atmosphere well. I got him to be my HOY quality saddle hunter but have decided to seriously downsize and have a life outside horses. He's a big unit of young horse with huge potential and will only be sold to a competent home. Price possibly a LITTLE neg to perfect home.

Zamperini

SE Standardbred Retraining and Rehoming presents.... 6yo 15.1hh Sweet Lou gelding - Zamperini Louie is available to the BEST home only - he is a special guy. Retired sound, spelled and started under saddle with no fuss. Louie is green but very kind and has a fantastic work ethic. Has walk and trot established, canters very well on the lunge, moves nicely off the leg etc. Hacks out on his own. Has alot of natural ability and is very athletic in type. Good ground manners, good to drench & for the farrier (shod infront) BUT Louie is not much of a people person, he can be difficult to catch unless he knows you (never takes more than 5mins) - he has been great with me but it took a few weeks to establish that. His new home must be kind and competent to continue working on this with him. Will excel in the show ring.

Ancova Sargent HA (name pending)

Sarge is a 6-year-old purebred Haflinger gelding (Sire Southern Spirit), 14.2hh and barefoot, being sold on behalf of his owner. He is the half-brother to Gus, (also listed) but the greener of the two — and a very different personality. Sarge is a strong-willed, thinking horse who is always trying to find the right answer. He has a genuine work ethic and, once he understands something, he will offer it again and again — he enjoys getting it right and showing you that he knows. He’s the type that builds a real partnership with his person and thrives on attention and connection. Under saddle, Sarge is forward, steady, and not spooky, with no buck, bolt, or rear. While he is technically green, he doesn’t present as unpredictable — but he does require clear boundaries and consistency to bring out his best. He has done plenty of solo trekking, where he is confident and relaxed, and has also been on group rides with one clear consideration: he does not like horses riding up close behind him and will kick out if crowded. Managed simply by riding him at the back of the group, he settles well. The beach is a highlight for Sarge. He will walk straight into the water, is comfortable in the waves, and has a lovely, steady canter down the beach, with the ability to come back to a relaxed walk and then go forward again when asked. Sarge is excellent over obstacles, confidently handling varied terrain and happily popping over logs with a neat, tidy jump. He would make a fantastic trick or versatility pony, as he enjoys learning and engaging with his work. Suitability Sarge is best suited to a competent, experienced rider who enjoys working with a thinking horse and is willing to continue his education. In the right hands, he will be an incredibly rewarding partner with a lot to offer. He is not suited to: Beginners Nervous or inconsistent riders Homes without paddock company Long term, he will thrive as a versatile pleasure and trekking horse with a rider who values a willing partner. Management Barefoot and strong in varied terrain Native breed — requires diet management Must have paddock company Will do best in a herd-based or track-style system He can be sold with his fitted saddle for ease of transition. Ongoing Support Sarge does have a couple of quirks that require experienced handling: He needs patience and consistency when tied He will stomp his front foot to get attention (his way of saying “come get me, let’s go”) He can offer the same behaviour when floating, particularly when the float stops These behaviours have already improved significantly with consistent handling. The key is not rewarding the behaviour, and waiting for the correct response before releasing or engaging with him. He is a horse that learns patterns quickly — which is a strength when handled well, but requires someone disciplined and consistent to continue reinforcing the right answers.

Ancova Augustus HA1024

Gus is a 7-year-old purebred Haflinger gelding (Amberg BA295 Imp x Reflection BA310 Imp), 14.1hh and barefoot, with proven exposure across mountains, traffic and varied terrain. Steady but requires confident leadership — suited to a competent rider seeking a capable trekking and/or low-level jumping/show partner. Gus has been under saddle for several months and is currently in work. His education has prioritised exposure, rhythm and resilience rather than drilling or rushing stages. He has been ridden in: Roads and traffic Hills and mountains Rivers and lakes Snow conditions He has completed a multiple treks and handles varied terrain without escalation. He has climbed mountains barefoot, reinforcing both his physical strength and hoof quality. In the arena, he is establishing clarity in walk, trot and canter. He has begun jumping small fences and shows a sensible approach when expectations are consistent. Suitability Gus is suited to: A competent, balanced rider An adult returning to riding who retains confidence and leadership A rider wanting safe trail miles alongside arena development Someone interested in low-level jumping or trick training He is not suited to: Beginners Nervous or inconsistent riders Homes without paddock company Long term, he will thrive as a versatile pleasure and trekking horse with a rider who values steady progression. Management Barefoot and strong in varied terrain Native breed — requires diet management Must have paddock company Will do best in a herd-based or track-style system He can be sold with his fitted saddle and bridle for ease of transition. Ongoing Support Matching matters. Clear communication and appropriate pressure are essential with Gus. Ongoing guidance is available to ensure a steady and well-supported partnership.
