LAVENDER HILL KSNZ 5yr old 15.3hh Registered NZWBA mare by Senator VDL out of a TB mare. Lav has been with me for the last year and has been a genuine youngster to produce, she is soft and willing on the flat with a super canter, brave and careful to jump with good natural instincts and enjoys getting out and about hacking! I see this mare thriving in an Eventing home with a competent junior or smaller adult wanting a straightforward but capable young horse with plenty of potential to travel up through the grades. Equally would suit a Jumping home or just someone that wants to do a bit of everything.

Charlie is a super fun wee chap that is also capable of stepping up the grades in a competitive home. He has been lightly competed and is ready to get out consistently in his new home. With us he has been ridden by a range of riders from professionals through to 14yr olds and PC level riders. A genuine youngster who has been a pleasure to produce so far. He is working kindly on the flat, happily hacks out round the farm on his own or in company, goes bareback, jumping up to 1.10m at home over SJ’s and schooling round 95cm XC. He is a nice compact horse that is easy to put together and has shown no dirt having arrived to us as a green 4yr old straight off the break. Charlie is good to truck and float, currently barefoot although is good to shoe, happily waits his turn in the tie ups, paddocks alone and with company and is just a good sort to have around the place and enjoy.

Reluctantly looking for new home due to no fault of his own (Young family so not much spare time to do him justice) Bay TB gelding, 11 years old, 16.2hh ish (Can measure) Smarty is a laid back chap, who loves to please. He’s show jumped up to 80cm and done show hunter at the same height. Schooled some 90cm at home, has a nice jump with potential to go higher easily. Good for farrier, have his teeth done, to float, truck etc. He is establishing working in a frame and is picking it up it just hasn’t been my focus. Home is very important, he’s a lovely horse and I want him to find the right person that is experienced and kind that can bring out his full potential. No dirt and is certainly more whoa than go but can have TB moments but just needs more mileage and consistency. He adores attention and wants to be best friends. Located near Rangiora (Canterbury)

Arya was started under saddle in late spring 2024, after receiving a thorough groundwork foundation. Since then, we’ve exposed her to a variety of environments and also given her little breaks in between training blocks to process what she’s learned. She’s a beautifully put-together mare and always catches people’s eye, but more importantly, she’s smart, curious, and keen to learn. She has plenty of life and a great walk but is always respectful and can be ridden on a loose rein. She adjusts easily to her rider’s energy—moving forward when asked but coming back down just as easily. She’s done a variety of exercises on the ground and under saddle, including: * United circles, small serpentines, and weaving at the trot * Changing eyes exercises * Bending/flexing, engaging the hindquarters * Backing up with a soft feel, backs circles on the ground * Separating the hindquarters from the front and starting to learn a little turnaround * Roping front and hind feet * Used to flags, ropes, tarps, and you can throw a lasso off her and drag a log * Picks you up from a fence, bank, or mounting block and parks you again after the ride ✅ Proven in Many Environments Arya has been ridden in the round pen and the arena as well as on farms and stations, through forests, bush-bashed on rugged trails, on roads, across rocky riverbeds, up and down hills, and through rivers and creeks. She recently spent a month with us and three other horses on a backcountry expedition, where we spent 24/7 with them. I have also led a packhorse off her in the backcountry, where she proved to be a great role model. Remmy is a 16.3hh 5 year old Thoroughbred Gelding by Tavistock. Remmy retired from racing in November 2024 and has had a slow introduction to the sport horse life. Remmy seems to like things in the slow lane and is generally more woo than go. Remmy is still very green and although he hasn't shown any buck, rear or bolt, he will still require a competent rider. Remmy seems to prefer relaxed casual work rather than being pushed, however I think he may benefit from a decent break to build up and be a horse. Remmy is generally easy to handle on the ground.

'Silent Wings' Dressage/Showing/Hacking Schoolmaster. 15yr old 157cm TB by Dansk. Sting is beautifully put together with gorgeous free movement and gets compliments everywhere he goes! Great to hack, not spooky, easy to handle, enjoys having a job and being around people. Well schooled on the flat and a pleasure to ride. Not clingy to other horses and loves going on the float for adventures! He's previously won Novice and Open Park Hack Championships as well as Supreme Horse at the New Zealand Riding Pony Society show 2018 and he also won Champion Novice Park Hack at Canterbury A&P show the same year. He has also done some low level dressage with good results and has a lot of potential in this area. Recently competed at Rai Valley A&P show after only being in work for a week and went Reserve Champion Novice and Open Park Hack with excellent comments from the judge. He can jump however this hasn't been the focus for his current rider. Sting does get grass affected so he needs his diet managed, and he is girthy so isn't suited to a nervous or beginner rider. Up to date on teeth/worming/bodywork, has been xrayed (these showed no issues and available if requested), currently has front shoes on, is in work and ready to go! He's a capable fun horse for a confident teenager or adult wanting to compete and hack. Sadly he's not quite the right fit for his current rider so he is looking for a new home.
