Joe is an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold. Due to needing to cut back on numbers, this lovely boy is now available to the best of homes.
He has been off the track since August and has had a proper let-down period, followed by light schooling. Joe is a forward, genuine ride with a soft mouth and is very responsive to his rider. With his natural athleticism and willing attitude, I can easily see him excelling in the show-jumping ring with someone who wants to put the time into producing him.
In light work
Fully shod all round
Sound, sane, and ready to continue his education
Price will increase as his work level goes up - Updated Photos to be taken this weekend
Joe is a quality young horse with heaps of potential and a lovely nature to match. He will make someone a very rewarding project.
Dancer is a lovely wee thing who I can see excelling at any discipline with correct schooling. Still green post track but a willing girl who just keeps getting better and better with each ride. Approx 15.1hh, 2019 born tb mare by Preferment. Dancer has 3 nice even paces and is taking everything in her stride. She is a lovely quiet wee mare but being so fresh ott will still need a competent rider to bring the best out of her. Located at Driftwood Sport Horses Ltd in Fernside, Canterbury. Uptown date with worming and new set of front shoes on today.
Nancy is a lovely type, easy to handle on the ground. Has been spelling for some time now and ready to move on to a new career whether that be broodmare, project or farm hack. Not currently in work and so priced accordingly. Not suitable for inexperienced riders, children or first time owners simply because she is fresh ottb who will need someone capable of producing her and providing for her needs. Wormed and feet trimming up to date.
Emmy is a very well handled 2yr Filly DOB 27.11.23. Chestnut with blaze, one hind stocking and a front partial stocking.
Great straight and flashy movement, will be a show stopper when fully matured.
Been to a few shows last season for wides at all of them. Slow developer measured at 146cm in early august (Height Cert) but now standing around 152cm approx.
Her full brother now 4 yrs was the same and is now 16.1hh. I believe she will still mature approximately 16-16.1hh.
Fantastic nature great with the farrier, to cover and uncover, easy to catch, self loads on the float & travels rock solid. Leads, ties happy to do anything as long as she is with you, really needs to find her human and bond with someone. Contract & payment plans available if required.
Gypsy cob x Welsh mare. Silver buckskin, high expression, homozygous black! EE, Cr cr, Znz. Ready for breeding season, with awesome colour genetics and movement. She has a beautifully refined head and conformation, yet is still clearly of cob type, floats effortlessly and her jump is beautiful (observed playing).
She has a great nature, is nice and cuddly and in your pocket - always the first to greet you and loves to be included in everything you're doing, and is food motivated, of course. Well socialised in a pony herd. Not finished growing yet. Measured at 135cm currently (still growing). Has been hard fed with quality feed her whole life and regularly drenched and trimmed. Doesn't need a cover during winter but stands loose to have it put on. Loves to be included with everything that goes on with farm life. ADORES foals, would love one of her own.
Very sad sale of the exact type of sport cob I was trying to breed, but I don't have a rider for her. Registered partbred Gypsy cob, can be registered partbred welsh also.
Kingslea Escapade (aka Richie)
Richie is a 9yr registered Welsh part bred gelding by Adlou Postie out of PGP mare Cheleken First Up.
I have had Richie since he was a weanling and have carefully produced him to where he is today, he has a lot of potential that should be put to good use.
He is a full brother to both Kingslea Chat Up and Kingslea High Jinx (who I previously owned since a 3yr in 2014 and sold in 2020), both of these ponies have qualified and competed at Horse of the year in different disciplines.
His first show we were at Gisborne in Jan 2022 in the practice ring not putting a foot wrong. His second show he was at an interschools at St Peters in Feb 2022 having his first go in the competition ring and just had a learning curve still jumped great and showed how quickly he learns from the first day to the second. Richie’s third show we were at the first Pegasus Cup at Takapoto in March 2023 where he jumped 4/4 rounds all clear and placing in all, getting two 2nds and two 4ths. In March 2024 he had his fourth show at Woodhill having 4fts but still placing 2nd. He has also had a few training days with the big showjumpers at Showfields in between shows back in 2022-2023. Late in December 2025 Richie had his first outing to Pleasant View for the first time where I showed him cross country jumps for the first time, up to 80-85cm and he exceeded all expectations jumping everything I pointed him at without hesitation. Also giving parts of the cowboy challenge ago and showing his bravery. Most recently in early April 2026, Richie came down to the Taupo Let’s Jump Easter show for the training rounds on Saturday to jump clear in both the 70cm and 80cm with ease.
I started carefully producing him as a rising 4yr during covid and from there on he has just gotten better and better. He has not had a lot of competition experience with school study, Thoroughbred Racing commitments and working getting in the way, but has proven from the competition outings he’s had that he will make someone more than happy in any discipline. I have had him jumping up to 80cm at events so far with plenty of scope to go further, but he will slowly be learning bigger tracks at home the more I produce him before being sold.
Even though Richie is 9, he is still green when out and about around lots of other horses because of his limited outings and doesn’t get to work with other horses at home, but the more he is with other horses the better he gets. Therefore, he is most suited to a confident pony rider who wants a pony to keep producing up the heights in whatever discipline they desire and enjoy placing at every show they go to.
As I am now 19 and no longer able to compete ponies, his outings will be limited to practice days and schooling at various facilities in the Waikato through winter. Richie’s best quality is when he is in the competition ring ready to get the job done, he is willing to give anything a go.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Richie and his amazing cheeky personality, but because I can no longer compete ponies, it is time he finds his new rider to have fun with. He will only be sold to a 5 star home.
Richie is in work and available to try any time.
Attached is a video of Richie’s flat work, jumping and cross country from pleasant view in late December 2025.

Almo has been out to a few practice days at 80cm xc and 90cm sj in the last few weeks and has proven to have a great brain and attitude, he hasn't competed as such yet but I think he will cope with this very well. He is currently schooling level two movements in dressage, with great trainability for straight dressage. Leg yield, counter canter, lengthened paces etc becoming well established. Shows good technique and attitude jumping. Snaffle mouth for all phases. XC schooling recently at Waikato Equestrian Centre which he was a delight, standing and waiting nicely when asked.
Is currently paddocked with another horse, though isn't particularly dominant with other horses. Prefers a paddock mate or horses close by. Currently shod in front barefoot hinds.
I have owned Almo for over six years, so any questions welcomed.
Price is Or Near Offer, home is more important.
PRICE DROP due to me not having the time to ride her and will be getting wasted in the paddock.
Lola has evented to 1.05m and 1.10m show jumping. She is very bold on xc and a hot ride when jumping. Can sometimes have an ambling gait when she gets a bit too excited and can get tense in her dressage tests but will always go double clear.
If you have a clear SJ round Lola will always be in the placings. She has had multiple placings and even a couple 1st places at the PC SISJC over the years.
Lola has a lovely nature with great ground manners (no dirt). She can go long periods without being ridden and be the same first ride back.
She’s good for the farrier, dentist and self loads floats/trucks. Good to hack alone or in a group. Very good doer and will be the dominant one. She would best suit a confident rider with softs hands who is used to a hot ride, and wanting to get out and compete.
Lola has been in our family for 6 years so this is a very hard sale and it will be sad to see her go, but would love to see her out and being enjoyed by another rider.
Barney is a lovely looking colt with his bling, he's by the lovely Brigham and has his sires temperament. His Dam Betty was a lovely mare to work with. Barney is a confident guy, he knows how to lead, tie, be trimmed and be caught. He's gonna be an awesome best friend type, quick to learn.
