A classy young NZTB with a big heart and plenty of character.
Chad has recently retired after a short racing career but we feel his future is bright in the sporthorse arena. He had one win and was easy to have in the barn, his best was early in his starts and was unable to back it up.
During his racing preparations he spent a couple of weeks schooling with Jump Start and has returned to be rehomed. We like to think Chad just liked it with us. Has been brought into work slowly after a 8 week plus spell and let down period. He has shown no dirty behaviour and has been enjoying the more relaxing lifestyle.
A more sensitive type under saddle but is sensible. I feel he would suit a rider who is understanding of a work balance and is able to provide more education and training to secure his future. In return I believe he will try hard to please, be a best mate and develop into a genuinely fun allrounder. Chad has started basic jumping, farm hacking and basic flat schooling. He is starting to be happy in his own company and interactions with his handler over his horse buddy’s.
Recently had his dental, health check, shod all round and up to date with vaccinations/worming. He has no know issues but has been seen to windsuck. Price is negotiable and potential homes must be able to provide a reference.

5yr old 16.1hh TB mare by Press Statement. Ash is a strapping young mare with a big future ahead of her!
She has recently retired from racing and taken to her sport horse career incredibly well she has a nice soft mouth, quality paces and the start of a super jump. I would love to land this mare in a competitive home where she is given the ability to get out and showcase her talents She has been for a hack round the farm and enjoyed getting out and about away from the arena!
She can be mareish to handle on the ground and towards other horses and she is a big unit so for those reasons I think she needs a more capable home than some others we have through but equally I think her abilities justify someone a bit more competent picking her up
Pablo has done a couple of weeks with us now and we are pretty happy we have his dream home sussed out for him so if it sounds like a bit of you flick us a message!
8yr old 16hh TB gelding by Niagara. He has HEAPS of hacking miles under his belt including the beach, forest and quiet roads. He really enjoys getting out for an adventure and goes alone or in company (he hasn’t been in a big group) happy as larry. His flat work is coming along nicely with the basics feeling pretty solid and there is plenty of quality to his paces as he starts to boogie. He is popping round wee jumps but lacks confidence in this department still and does prefer to have a wee looksie before jumping at the start of the session.
He’s a lovely horse to have around and handle, floats and trucks well alone or in company. Good for the farrier (currently shod in front and barefoot behind), paddocks with mates or in his own paddock. No vices on the ground we have seen. He hasn’t shown any bad behaviours under saddle here but he has given his previous owner a couple of frights under saddle when fresh. He arrived to us out of work and has been totally fine to bring back in but also want to make sure we do get it right for him so if you can’t cope with a bit of fresh behaviour he’s probably not the horse for you.
Lottie is a 5yr old 16.2hh approx TB mare by Per Incanto. She has had a spell since she finished racing and arrived to us just over a week ago currently barefoot and coping fine although we will pop some fronts on her if she’s hanging around and doing more work!
She has been a really kind and genuine mare to jump on and pick up her new job. Happily walk, trot, canters both ways on a soft rein but doesn’t really understand working in a frame yet. She has been super bold to jump in her three schooling sessions so far, better over solid fences at this stage but not going to be a hard mare to get going quickly she’s beyond brave!
Lottie has loved getting out round the farm and happily heads off for a hack on her own leaving her mates and cruises back in on a soft rein.
She has been nice to handle and have around, she does show signs of having mild shivers when asking her to back up on the lead but can pick up her back legs and is a nice sound looking mare on the whole
I think Lottie’s ideal home would be as a fun all rounder to do a bit of everything with, she’s taking everything in her stride so far and seems a nice sort. I’d put her in the good first TB category. She’s going to be fairly forgiving of someone learning how to produce a young horse!
SUPER FUN ALL ROUNDER
Chloe is a 10yr old 16.1hh TB mare by Natural Destiny. She is a neat and uncomplicated sort who loves having a job but equally cruises along on a loose rein.
We have found her as point and shoot to jump as they come, not spooky, happy to help you out of awkward spots and happily gets on with the job and takes you along with her. Goes kindly on the flat, loves hacking out and equally happy to go for a bareback play.
I see her being a super fun teenagers horse to do a bit of everything with or fun for an adult just wanting a neat mare to enjoy
SCOPEY JUMPER READY FOR BIGGER ASSIGNMENTS
7yr old 16.1hh WB x TB gelding by Lordano out of a Volksraad x Omnicorp mare.
Pure Finale is an impressive jumper who has been carefully produced with the future in mind and is now ready to step up the grades on the way to the top!
Lightly competed to 1.10m and everything I have been looking for but a change in rider direction means someone else gets to enjoy him instead. Spag would suit a competitive home in either Show Jumping or Eventing and has all the makings of a top horse. He has had limited competition outings due to a lack of time on my behalf but is ready to keep stepping up and is schooling round 1.20m at home with ease. He has been XC schooling once and absolutely loved this, was as bold as they come and I feel eventing could be an area he really shines in with his good ground covering stride and scopey jump. He works kindly on the flat and is a pleasant ride although does still have a lot of strengthening to do in the canter.
He is good to have around, enjoys hacking out round the farm, forest and beach, trucks well (hasn’t floated much), is good for the farrier, and is a nice sound horse that has been looked after. He is regularly ridden by my 18yr old groom at home and is well mannered for her he is however a high performance athlete with a big engine so isn’t going to suit someone nervous or that is learning to ride.
I would really like to see this horse out being utilised as I think a lot of him and he is going to waste here now he has been with me since a green broke 4yr old so this is a sad sale but he deserves to be showing off his talents!
Sioux is the loveliest horse to have around and such a fun horse to ride! She has jumped up to 1.25m SJ and would be a fantastic JR or AR horse not only because of her ability but her fabulous nature! She is an easy horse to get together and establish a good jumping canter on so don’t be put off by her size! She is a careful jumper without jumping her rider out of the saddle. A really genuine mare!
Nicely flat schooled and well in tune with your aids. Can get strong at times when jumping but never hot or silly. Has lightly XC schooled. Could make a lovely horse for someone wanting to dabble in a bit of everything as she would fit nicely into the SH ring also.
Sioux is the easiest horse to hack, truck, float, shoe, paddock and work with on a day to day basis. No buck, rear, bolt or dirt of any kind.
Sioux has been loved by her current family for 3 years where she was the first SJ mount for a junior rider and attended Nga Tawa. Only for sale due to rider starting an apprenticeship.
Fit and ready to go!
Lots of videos available. Located Taupo at Brea Walker Eventing.
Happy hacker!
Jesse has been a loved member of the family since he was 3. I don't have the time or space for him anymore. So really need to find him a new loving home!
He's been out of work for over 2 years now and has become a paddock ornament. This is such a shame because, with the right person, he could do some pretty awesome things.
In his prime, he was a fabulous dressage pony and was pretty successful at it. I do feel now he would be best suited as a happy hacker. He enjoys the forest and has done well as a "Dad Pony" for some challenging treks.
He needs a family who is willing to put in the work with him as he can be a bit challenging sometimes. He knows how to self-load onto the float but can test boundaries with new people when handling. He has definitely matured with age and this is not as much of a problem anymore but he is not suited for an inexperienced family.

Show jumped to 1.20m, a capable horse for the right rider to work towards AR/ JR classes. He is very adjustable and honest.
He has also competed in some show classes and would make a competitive show horse for someone wanting to dabble in some variation of classes.
A quality horse with a big future with the right rider.
Priced cheaply considering the current market.
