Pure Asterix
6yo 16hh Thoroughbred gelding by Astern
Gecko is a lovely horse with a fun personality. He loves attention and will be your best friend. Very easy to have around and very low fuss.
He works well on the flat but doesn’t have the flashiest movement. Works in a frame in all paces and is light in the contact.
What he lacks in fanciness on the flat he makes up for with his super jump!
He is careful but also brave and extremely scopey. Easily schooling to 90cm with a tonne left in the tank. Has also jumped basic cross country jumps including ditches.
He is a straightforward, fun ride, is not a spooky type and doesn’t get fizzy.
He has been out to many different places including winter training days where he always jumps clear. Good to hack out at the forest, hasn’t been to the beach yet but I’m sure he would love it.
Would make an awesome all rounder, pony club mount, show jumper or eventer

Daisy Xtreme has been purpose bred to excel at the top levels of the sport. She has had a wonderful start to her ridden career, being professionally started and produced at Xtreme Sport Horses.

A powerhouse, she has an impressive, athletic jump with an incredible technique over a fence. She is a sensitive mare but is bold, brave and absolutely loves her job! She has the heart to really work and try for her rider.

Schooling up to 1.30m at home and has competed up to 1.10m at her first shows, she is ready to continue her career and start climbing the grades.

Dj loves being fussed over, great to catch, not girthy well trained with her feet. Currently shod but excellent shape to her hooves, don’t see why she couldn’t go barefoot.
We have recently taken DJ to retrain as a riding horse, she has taken to being ridden very well. Happy to walk around trots very well, can cruise around on a long rein without gaining speed & can canter both leads however it is not very strong.
DJ loves getting out for a walk/hack. Isn’t spooky, ears forward very happy to be getting out for a look! We believe this is her happy place, and that’s where we’d like to see her go, a happy hacking horse or low level working equitation type.
Has been off property for a wander down to the river, she was happy in the water, hesitant about down banks at first but worked it out well and then was happy to conquer anything after that. She is a smart wee thing.
DJ if left alone while tied is quite busy and can paw the ground dance around etc. (Not while you’re handling her very cuddly!)
She is excellent to float, but is more familiar with angle load so can try to turn coming off but this is no issue, just need to keep her straight when coming off down the ramp.
Unfortunately DJ can show a touch of lameness while trotting around a turn, it is very ‘low grade’ (0.5/5) however because of this we do not want to push her much with loads of circle work or jumping.
She does warm up after some trot. Have a look on ardlussa equine Facebook page to see videos of her going.
Time, away from the racing industry may also bring her right, equally looking into options such as 4cyte or pentosan could be well worth it.
Her pryce reflects the touch of unsoundness on a circle. If it wasn’t for that, she would be pryced alot higher. DJ is a sweet horse and worth the time.

DJ is green broke, not suitable for anyone nervous or kids etc. DJ would also be a great paddock mate.

Belle is a sweet, workman like little lass.
From day one she’s been great to handle including on the ground and and super straightforward to ride, gets both leads easily & has never said no to a jump. Has played with a couple of one strides & lines.
Floats & trucks perfectly. Straight ties & cross ties with no issues at all.
We’ve taken her on an outing down to the river and she was very well behaved, brave/forward into the water and banks/hills/dips were easy.
Just been front shod and was very easy for the farrier.
Belle, although she is very easy is still green, can be keen to get the job done. I wouldn’t say she is hot, but can be strong and loves to work. Because of that we think she’d suit a more active lifestyle, show jumping or perhaps eventing!
Absolutely no dirt whatsoever, although not suitable for beginners or nervous riders.

Bee was starting professionally under saddle and has slowly produced. And is very ready to start showing career. She has had limited outings, Due to having too many ponies on the go. Bee is a lovely natured pony easy to handle on the ground, the first one at the fence to say hello. Good to trim hoofs, loads well, stands happy tied to the float. Hacks on a long rein on her own or in company. Can be ridden without requiring lunging after having time off. Bee has lovely big moment at the trot, has a nice steady show ring canter, a light soft mouth. She can be ridden by a beginner but would benefit having a experience ridder carrying on with schooling her over winter ready for next season. She has no buck ,bolt or any naughtiness just green due to lack of milage, no qurks. She will Excel in the saddle hunter ring /Dressage and has a perfect show hunter rhythm over Jumps. doesn't look at fills or anything. Will only sell to experience competitive home, no beginners. Is all up to date with dental, hoof care and is up to date with his annual vaccinations.

He trucks and floats well, self loads most of the time. respects fences and hot tape.
