How do I list a horse on the site?

To list a single horse for sale you will need to sign up for a subscription at just $25 a year. This includes the ability to list one horse. If you want to sell multiple horses, you will need to purchase a suitable package to cover the number of horses you want to list in a year. Click here to list your horse.

Is it free to list horses for sale on the site?

No, you will need to create an account. Membership lasts a year and costs only $25. Your account allows you to list one horse as well as giving you access to other benefits. Click here to create your account.

Can I edit my horse listing once it has been added?

Yes, you can change your horse listing once it has been published, however, all changes need to be approved by an administrator.

Can I add more photos and videos once my listing has been created?

You can add more photos and videos once your listing has been created. You can add as many photos as you want as long as the total size does not exceed 80MB. The videos are added via a Youtube link, so you can add as many as you want. For instructions on how to do this have a look at our video help blog.

Sharon has been a broodmare most of her life. She gets in foal easily and is an easy foaled. Has been live covered. She is great to handle and loves attention, while on the older side to break in, I think she would love to be a ridden pony and would be very easy to start. We have had her wearing a bridle and saddle and she has had a rider on and been ridden around on the lead with no fuss.

She has some of the most sought after pony breeding lines in NZ and would breed correct foals.

Price negotiable, we are just wanting a home where she will be utilised and well looked after!

Ellen had a few foals with her breeder, and has had three for me. Her oldest foal here is licensed stallion Up n Go RF (Up To You) who has the most wonderful temperament you could ask for. Her latest filly scored excellence during foal inspections, and the previous year filly scored a merit. Final 3 photos are her offspring.

She was not put back in foal this season due to the number of other mares I had to put in foal. I have since then gotten into professional phase of vet school and need to cut back on breeding numbers for the coming years.

Ellen is an absolute pleasure to have around in all respects and been a highly valued addition to my broodmare herd.

Freddie is a handsome 14.1hh 9yr old Giborn Bred Pony.

Freddie has been with his current home for 2 years. During that time he has done, pony club rallies, pony club camp, gymkanans, mounted games, pleasure showing, show jumping to 70cm, low level cross country and dressage. He is a jack of all trades! Tries very hard to please and has a heart of gold.

Moves beautifully and has the cutest face so always does very well in the show pleasure classes. He always comes home with compliments and a neck full of ribbons.

Has been hacked extensively in the forest, at the beach and over farmland. Is great at the front or back and can do gates while mounted.

Is great for the farrier and vets, easy to worm, clip, float, etc.

Freddie is an awesome pony who is ready for his next little person to take on adventures. However, he does need a calm confident rider as he is sensitive. No dirt but needs someone who will take the time to develop a partnership before asking too much of him.

Twisty

I have owned Twisty since a 4yo, purchased from EventStars. He is excellent to do everything with but can have a grumpy ginger personality. He is quite workman like and likes a job. He has done L2 Dressage, 105 Eventing (1 or 2 starts), 110cm SJ and also dabbled in SH. End of 2023, I did some showing with him - quite successful in the Park Hack ring and got a few wide ribbons. He also flew round the EC Derby day at 95 in May. He is a lot of fun, but is forward moving. Would suit a gutsy PC rider wanting to go up the grades or he would be a fantastic endurance horse!

Only for sale as change in life direction and I only have the time for 3 competition horses. No rush to sell as wanting to find his perfect home.

Mickey

Absolutely lovely boy, I have a real soft spot for this guy. He has done a bit of everything with us since I got him as a 2yo. Would suit someone who is wanting to do a bit of everything, happy hacker/low key fun all round horse. Is great to hack out on the roads (I have had him trotting behind a road grader) and loves water! Is shod in front and not behind, has been shod all round when in full work and doing the higher heights. Teeth/worming/tetanus all up to date.

Health Disclosure: Is Grade 4 in the wind, this does not effect his performance - happily pops around the 95 XC tracks. Happy to refer you to our vet for a discussion around this.
